James possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from San Diego State University and a Master's degree in Education from National University. Cuyamaca College: Under his leadership, James has revitalized the Concert Band, significantly expanding its size and repertoire to include complex works like those by David Maslanka. His efforts have transformed the music department into a hub of musical excellence.
San Diego Winds: As President and co-founder of San Diego Winds, James has developed the ensemble into a cornerstone of the local music scene, emphasizing performance excellence and educational outreach.
